• Biography

    David Trausch is an associate in the Restructuring Practice Group in the Houston office of Haynes and Boone. David began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Jeff Bohm, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of Texas. David draws on his clerkship experience to advocate for his clients’ interests. David represents clients from many industries, with a focus on energy related companies and property owners in all areas of restructuring both in and out of court. David has experience in energy bankruptcies includes representing property owners, unsecured creditors, gas gathering companies, ad hoc groups, treasury management banks, bidders, purchasers, secured creditors, and other parties in interest. David also has experience in bankruptcy litigation both in the main bankruptcy case and adversary proceedings within the bankruptcy.
