The editorial and research staff of Latinvex ranks the top international law firms in Latin America overall and in 18 practice areas. The sixth annual ranking of firms is based on a combination of factors, including value, prominence and scope of work and references among clients and peers, Latinvex said.

“This latest ranking underscores our decades long commitment to being trusted advisors in the Latin American market, in a broad range of practice areas,” said Alberto de la Peña, who heads the Mexico Practice Group and is a member of Haynes and Boone’s Board of Directors. “We look forward to continuing to grow our Latin American Practice and to serving clients in the region for many years to come.”

Haynes and Boone has one of the largest Latin American/Caribbean practices among the AmLaw 100 law firms, with approximately 60 lawyers serving clients from our Dallas, Houston, Mexico City, New York, London, Washington D.C., and Austin offices. These lawyers are native speakers or fluent in English and Spanish, and are comfortable working with civil law and international law concepts. The firm is experienced in virtually all Latin American and Caribbean markets. Our lawyers have helped clients navigate and complete some of the most ambitious and challenging projects involving transportation, real estate, infrastructure and energy.

Haynes and Boone, SC, the firm’s fully-integrated Mexico City office, was formed in 1994, with lawyers and law clerks advising on Mexican Law. The firm is unique in having permanent senior Mexican lawyers based in its U.S. offices and conversely having an American expatriate working in its Mexico City office, thereby providing integrated working teams from both its U.S. and Mexican platforms.
