A Message From Managing Partner, Tim Powers

September 2017

Timothy Powers

Dear Clients and Colleagues,

As you are well aware, Mexico City has suffered the effects of a powerful earthquake. I am happy to report that all of our employees are safe.

Our Mexico City office will remain closed until further notice. However, we want to assure you that Haynes and Boone remains fully committed to immediately providing you services on your current matters and beyond. Our systems are designed to allow for robust remote access to our secure network by all our lawyers wherever they are located. Right now electricity and internet connections in Mexico City are inconsistent but improving, and most of our Mexico-based lawyers are getting back online. In addition, our lawyers in our other offices are eager to help you and their colleagues, so your matters will continue to be handled seamlessly.

Should you require immediate assistance and have problems reaching your Haynes and Boone lawyers, please either call me at 214.651.5610 or send me an email at timothy.powers@haynesboone.com. I will personally make sure your matter is addressed immediately.

For those of you currently impacted by the earthquake, please know we stand ready to assist you in any way from any of our other 14 offices. Thank you again as always for the trust you place in our firm and for your patience as we recover from this devastating earthquake.
