A Record of Accomplishment

Haynes and Boone has long been recognized as a pioneer in the area of diversity and women initiatives. In fact, the firm appears in many “Top 100” rankings related to diversity and women matters. Although we are proud of this recognition, the firm views these accomplishments as small steps towards a greater goal.

We believe that recognition for our diversity efforts helps build momentum to support our recruitment and retention of the widest and best cross-section of attorney talent. That is why we are proud of such designations and rankings as these:

  • Haynes and Boone has been named the 2016 Best Firm for Talent Management in North America by Euromoney Legal Media Group’s Americas Women in Business Law Awards.
  • Haynes and Boone has been named the most diverse firm in Texas on The American Lawyer’s 2016 Diversity Scorecard. The firm ranked no. 27 nationwide.
  • Haynes and Boone has received the Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) Gold Standard Certification for five consecutive years, 2011-2015.
  • Haynes and Boone was recognized as a Top 50 firm for minority attorneys in the Law360 Minority Report, Portfolio Media, Inc., 2015 and 2016.
  • For the second straight year, named the Best National Firm for Diversity in North America by the Americas Women in Business Law Awards, presented by Euromoney Legal Media Group, Euromoney Institutional Investor, PLC, 2015.
  • Haynes and Boone ranked No. 52 in American Lawyer’s 2015 Diversity Scorecard, ALM Media Properties, LLC.
  • The firm was chosen as a winner of the 2014 Diversity Leader Award by Profiles in Diversity Journal, a magazine focusing on diversity/inclusion in business, government, non-profit, higher education and military settings.
  • Haynes and Boone received the prestigious Thomas L. Sager Award in 2013, presented by the Minority Corporate Counsel Association in recognition of the firm’s commitment to diversity. The firm was also recognized as a finalist again in 2014 and 2015.
  • In 2016, Vault’s annual survey of the 100 largest U.S. law firms ranked Haynes and Boone highly in several diversity categories: Diversity for Minorities (no. 11), Diversity for Individuals with Disabilities (no. 13), and Diversity for Women (no. 16), Vault/Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) Law Firm Diversity Database.
